For this newly developed industrial area, SWH helped review credit options and established the most efficient scoring profile for the scheme.
This new industrial area in Bicester consisted of 7 new shell and core units, constructed to the same specification.
ASHP and PVs were installed to each unit together with efficient passive design to achieve a 19% reduction in CO2 emissions, overall.
Energy efficient internal and external lighting and controls were installed throughout the units. Low water consuming sanitary fittings were also specified to ensure a reduction in water consumption.
Scott White and Hookins were appointed by the Main Contractor early on in the design stage on the scheme to help review credit options and establish the most efficient scoring profile for the scheme, ensuring it achieved its targeted Very Good rating, at both design and post construction stages.

Final rating – BREEAM Very Good Certified
