Asda Raunds
The new Asda supermarket achieved a BREEAM Very Good certificate as a result of SWH maximising the credits that could readily be achieved.
This project involved a new Asda store development in Raunds, Northamptonshire.
Scott White and Hookins were appointed early in the scheme development by the Main Contractor team on the design and build project. This allowed us to review the various credit options along with Client's specification requirements to maximise the credits that could readily be achieved.
As a result the scheme scored particularly highly within the Waste, Pollution and Materials sections of the assessment, allowing it to comfortably gain its targeted Very Good rating at both design and follow on formal final certification stages.
